How small are they canonically? If it isn't too small a 1:1 series would be cool and probably make for some nice displays.

I would think around 1.5 inches in height. They are about the size of a battery in the game. I think scaling them up a little bit would be beneficial and would open the Pikmin to much more articulation

Few changes for boots/gloves and obviously head sculpt and helmet, but as far as resigning a new figure I think that Mario as a base would be perfect

I think about 1/36, about the size of those Mega Construct figures, would be good for the Pikmin themselves and they could be sold in packs of 4 or 6 each.
Give them 8 POA (arms, legs, waist, neck, antenna and lead) and they could be pretty fun.

I was thinking a balljoint but a wire would probably help it looks seamless.

I agree the scale would need to be changed, but figures at the actual Pikmin scale are always so flimsy in my experience

I wanted them so badly after I played the first game. I live in a nice rural area and i have a frog pond and a bunch of bugs/critters that live around my house even as a kid, I always wanted to play pikmin irl and have them explore nature. I especially wanted the bulborbs and the different creatures
