>>8194027I've never moved goalposts. I have consistently said that the higher-end toys cost more because they are consistently better.
I have clearly outlined my argument throughout multiple threads and never changed my argument to suit the occasion.
I have posted pictures to prove my point and you STILL haven't posted a McFarlane figure doing the pose that I've posted twice now.
Because they can't and you can't.
You claim that McFarlane and Hasbro figures are better than 1000Toys, but this is objectively untrue in every single aspect except price - but I have provided more than reasonable arguments for the differing price points. A $20 McFarlane toy is worth $20 (sometimes not even that much). An $80 or $60 1000Toys figure is worth what you pay for it. Every time.
- Well-thought-out and clever engineering.
- Excellent, smooth, tight, full-range articulation.
- Zero qc issues.
- Beautiful sculpt and perfect paint apps.
- Durable, nice feeling materials.
The only complaints I've ever seen or heard were with the DMC5 figures and that was because of the naff-looking knees (which still articulate really well) and "the coats are too big". Dante has very minimal gapping at the hairline on one of the three faceplates.
- McFarlane Toys have an abysmal track record when it comes to quality control.
- Poor articulation, to the point where custimisers are offering articulation mods for MK11 Spawn.
- Poor engineering decisions, with awful cut-out joints.
- Awful faces that require replacement heads.
- Paint apps vary in quality from figure-to-figure.
- Wide ranging scale within the same line.
- Rubbery, gummy-feeling plastic.
The only real positive is price point and often great sculpted details.
