>>8215589I like a very small amount of figures from their POP line (mostly some horror monsters), and specific lines from their Mystery Minis (mostly horror and sci-fi related lines). I think as a company they are fine and get too much praise or hate from different categories of toy collectors. The whole
>>8215591 comes off as immature and doesn't help a persons case to criticize them. I have my complaints, like how they make way too many Pop figures of way too many properties. Their Star Wars and Marvel lines are atrocious imo, like don't we have enough representation of those franchises elsewhere? I wish they catered to more niche properties and characters, which I think is where they shine. It means way more to see a POP of Audrey II than it does to see a POP of Darth Vader. Also they experiment way too much in new lines that don't seem as succsesful, like clothing and stationary. I think if they cut back on quantity and improved quality, as well as focusing more on the niche market instead of mass market, they'd do much better imo. As of now, they are shooting themselves in the foot by producing more products for a markets that are never satisfied to put in stores that are already full of products shelfwarming. I can keep going on and on. At the end of the day I like some of thier products and will continue to support them as long as the quality and care is put into the lines I collect. I noticed a change in their approach ever since they become publicly traded for the better and worse.
As an aside, yesterday I was at Target looking at toys and I overheard a little kid ask their mother: 'Mom, are Pops toys?'
