>>8223009I fixed this on mine!
-There are screws on his shin under the car front quarter panel. Remove them and you should be able to hinge his shin halves apart at the knee joint if you pull them slightly apart.
-Remove the black piece with the silver peg in it.
I recommend building a jig out of scrap wood to hold the round part of the black piece steady, you're going to punch the pin out from the side that sheared off using a pin punch and hammer. I was able to make a jig with just a drill press and bit set, if you ask around I'm sure you can find somebody with one. You can work without a jig if you want to risk it but since the back of the part is round it's VERY likely to skip and fuck up the part.
-Remove the grey peg from the black hinge. I had to use a self-tapping screw to get it.
-Sand down the rough sheared edges on both parts.
-Reattach the peg with solvent cement, I personally use Plastruct Bondene but some of Tamiya's products will also work. Whatever you do don't use normal glue it won't be strong enough and you'll ruin any chance of using solvent cement.
-Let the solvent cement cure at least 48 hours, regardless of what the package says.
-Slightly sand down the outside edges of the peg to reduce the friction torque of the joint.
-Reassemble the leg
Mine's been fine for months and dozens of transformations after doing this.
