>>8222811They look decent, but formatting each set around a single play gimmick, then making that play gimmick completely reliant on a single piece that probably costs a relatively large amount to produce so it can only be found in an otherwise basic looking $50 set, then making that piece your most iconic, sellable character, is jaw droppingly stupid.
All they had to do is make Mario themed Lego sets. I don't care about Mario on the whole, but definitely would've bought a koopa airship or Mario 3 costume minifigs.
But they've overthought it, and it looks like a total turkey.
