I typically thought up making an "episode name" or "movie name".
I would then pretend it was from a POV of a movie or video game.
I'd never actually recreate stuff from the movies, I'd pick figures and maybe change their story and/or change their name.
To explain what I mean further, I'd pretend like I'm telling a story to someone with these figures.
