>>8232789>From what I've seen Mythic Legions stuff is basically NECA but not shit. The articulation could definitely be better but the aesthetics are top notch and you don't have to worry about them disintegrating out of the box.So you've never collected the line or don't pay attention to the threads, huh?
I can't blame you for not noticing in the threads, since the fanboys there will start posting a bunch of random stuff to try and drown out issues with the line.
Their latest giant figures can't move their hips without stressing the fuck out of the pegs, which will start turning white on the first motion. There's a guide that tells you how to take apart the figure so that you can loosen the joint without stressing the assembly and pegs.
The results? You now have a looser figure that isn't able to support its weight as good anymore.
And loose joints are an issue that has plagued the line since the beginning. Certain waves are worse than others.
It's not that bad, but since the line is made of hard plastic, that means shit will be brittle. Combined with the weight of the figures, I've had accessories just breaking from the figures keeling over thanks to their loose joints. Just a few inches onto the surface they were standing on is enough to cause breakage.
So all these issues with the engineering and plastics, combined with the outdated and severly limited range of motion, it's much much worse than NECA.
I've had NECA figures (which are double jointed and have impressive range of motion) fall down 5 feet onto tile and not break. I would not expect the same from a 4H figure
