Hasbro branded MPs always have worse quality control if you asked me though, but if you already have the Hasbro version and you're happy with it it's not like my opinion matters. Personally I used to have the Hasbro version but it literally felt like it was used new out of the box (i.e. with various scuff marks, roughed up plastic edges, and a really shitty paint chip on the tape deck door) I ended up replacing it with the Takara version when that got a reissue as well.
Also the Takara version of Soundwave only comes with Laserbeaks, the rest come in two-packs. The Hasbro version is a better deal by coming with all the cassettebots at a price that I'm pretty sure works out to be cheaper but who knows with how much they mark shit up now.
