I own this exact figure. Looks really amazing. Feels very fragile and posing him is a pain. It constantly wants to fall over. You have to pose it just right or it won't be standing for very long. It is an amazing looking piece though, easily catches someone's attention.

The Knex line is almost 1:18 scale. IT's around 1:20, so it's close enough.

Got Steelbone H04 today. Still working so will post more pics later once I have tome to set it up. Everything looks solid and in order. Paint details and weathering is very nice.

Overall I reccommend they are worth the price imo. The plastic quality feels a little brittle and the joints snd tolerances are really tight due to paint on the pegs and holes but nothing broke or even felt stressed. Just be careful some of the pegs are super tight. I used some silicon oil to help plug some stuff in. Its super tight. Posing and balance should be fine they are pretty solid overall.

JoyToy never fails to disappoint me

Every time I see something of theirs I like, the helmet or head sculpts almost never fail to turn me off of buying their figs; that chick looks like a fucking dyke, the armor is sick as fuck though
I wish they knew how to make cooler helmet designs

Only in the last year or so when I cam across images like this has this franchise really made me take notice. Put aside who/what/where the design concepts originated from, these are the best "original" concepts I seen for this type of figure scale and I'm surprised I havent pulled the trigger on these yet. These image finds are superb.

Have these guys improved their quality since their early stuff? I got this dude a couple years ago when people where trying to figure out who they were, and the build quality wasn't really impressive. A lot of stuff was either super tight or loose, he was made of really hollow, brittle plastic, and he could barely hold the gun. There was definitely potential, but mine never stood well and he's in pieces right now.

Yeah...thats probably why I havent pulled the trigger on purchasing these guys as much as I like the design.

Question: would you put money down on Joy Toy or Acid Rain figures?

I got that impression. Having u looked at some YT reviews and such, Acid Rain figures seem a bit better overall compared to JoyToy figures but zI guess its just down to buying maybe both and seeing for oneself. I just need to more frugal with $$ now so I like to get as much as info as poss before laying down my $$

Do people generally like 1/18 figures size wise? They have a few military ones I like but the size is keeping me away. Even when I was a kid I always felt they were too small and felt delicate in the joints.

They can hold a pose but not for long. Had it constantly tumble over after a few hours. Put it away in storage and just kept the army builders.
