On a whim I bought this Beanie Baby from a thrift store (somewhat) recently. One of the things I liked was the fact that while I would consider this toy very cute, it's not cutesy, and I think I'd apply that to most "classic style" Beanies.
Another thing that charmed me about this specific Beanie Baby was how his brow happened to be stitched on in such a way that he has a perpetually perplexed expression. I think that's what made me have to take him home with me.
I hope that most Beanies are relatively cheap on the aftermarket these days, because I think they're timeless, charming, well-made toys all around and I may want to start snatching up a few, including some that have been posted in this thread that I've never seen before.
