Beyond that, it also comes down to KFC first putting the figure out en masse, then realizing / being informed that the issues he was suffering from indicated it was at least in part not finely tuned enough. At least they were at least able at the point make production on parts that would bring the figure closer to what it should have been. And that in whatever most recent re-issues have those fixes already applied.
I suppose that what my real inside feelings are "how would the most current and up-to-date versions compare in a head-to-head?" Ditka does have the distinct pricing advantage over Gewalt, $85 vs $130; but the stipulation that both of those are pre-order listings at BBTS & TFS respectively.
