Not only are both overdue for updates, especially victory, but recall the PoTP vote where Star Saber and Deathsaurus were on the ballot.
We ended up getting most of that roster, including Magnus and Shockwave with armor up gimmicks intact. Not only that but the other fan votes always end with most of the other options getting released anyway, like the impactor/mirage one where we still wound up with spinister.
Point is, i bet they have had Deathsaurus and Star Saber in the works for a while, and have been vying for an opportunity to drop them. I think the next arc being future themed with Victory characters and micromaster combiners is the safest bet.
hell i wouldnt be surprised if the next titan is Raiden, and the next commander is Grandus.
