She's a pretty good torso. Surprisingly solid. Legs can be a little loose but that is typical for all combiner torsos.

However you will be paying a premium for Greenlight.
The other 3 you can find easily but, Greenlight is expensive as fuck.

Oh also, since I posted ROTF Bludgeon.
Does anyone know if any good replacement swords for him? I know there is an upgrade kit but I don't have much interest in that since the price has gone up a lot and I have no real interest in changing the head since I like the default one.
I imagine 1/12 scale swords would work but I just want to know if there are any specific ones I should get.

No real theme just a massive clusterfuck of all the G1 figures that still don't have modern toys like the Masterforce/Victory cast and all the other weird late 80's - early 90's G1.5 stuff, go mad and do a titan class Grandus, commander Sky Garry/Star Convoy etc
Just get it all out of the way so we can be done with G1 forever, that way the Takara G1 fans finally get some love and after that line we can just move on to generations Car Robots, UT, Animated etc.

Not too thrilled. Sure I'll get some of them, but I'm not sure I'll go all in. I already have a Rhinox and Rattrap, don't care about Scorponok, and my old TRU anniversary Primal with Megatron still look good. The only one's I'm looking forward to are Airrazor, Cheetor, Dinobot and Blackarachnia (assuming any of them are good), so unless they surprise us with non show characters or some new beasts, I won't spend much

Yeah outside of the initial season 1 Maximals cast and Megatron, BA and Waspinator the season 1 BW cast haven't gotten figures.
I'm kinda looking forward to a new Tarantulus and Terrorsaur (hopefully we get a new BW Inferno too).
I imagine they want to play it safe right now by only doing the show characters, but as the line goes on I think they will be doing toy only beasts and season 2/3 but I think it'll all depend how well Kingdom goes.

Novastar is the one I'm having the most trouble finding for a decent price. I managed to pick up Greenlight and Lancer for $17 each, but Novastar eludes me and she seems to have taken a sudden spike recently.

Mine had the usual loose 5mm hand/foot ports but that's fixable with any thickener you can apply in tiny doses. Other than that she's been pretty stable and holds a pose nicely.

Still wish they kept Elita-1nfinte as the name though.

Open up her chest and you should see a metal pin that connects her back to the backpack. Heat that up using a ColdHeat soldering iron or regular plug in one, pull the backpack off gently. Takara taking the lead has been a total nonstarter for them. every time they make an original, non MP series it tends to peter out. How often do we hear about BWII/Neo not being as successful as BW season 1, Car robots not being successful(Remember, in Japan the line took a hiatus between CR and Armada; nearly two whole years.), TF go! didn't go much of anywhere, Robot Masters was mostly redecoes but the original molds were quickly overshone by Classics, Alternity was a small series, TF Go! seemed to go into clearance quick. In Japan it seems the main appeal of Transformers is with collectors,, hence the MP line.

That one was a bit odd. I forgot about her. A lot of the writers had weird little input of lines that made context weird. Like the “always room for one more” struck me as weird since fusion could be based on ANY kind of relationship and if it’s not specified it’s easy to jump to romantic as default because of Garnet. But like, was a polyamorous centipede the intent? I will say I didn’t mind the less violence. But really at the end of the day SU is just gay space rock version of the Transformers lore with a few twists. Politics of it and action of it was all so very reminiscent which is probably why I enjoyed it.

Probably because Shinkalion etc is making them bank so they don't really need to care about Transformers much anymore. So a few threads back I was posting some art concepts of how to make a functional Arcee, and it revolved around tucking the back fenders up under her chestplate in robot mode.
Been tinkering with some paper modeling (as suggested by a kind anon) and I'm pretty sure I've got it worked out, but it's made me desire to make a custom.
Am I better off buying a used figure and modding it if I will still have to basically resculpt every part (leaving only the joints untouched) or should I just say fuck it and try to 3d model for print?
I have a 3d art background, just never had to make something to be printed before.
Another possibility, I guess, would be to make elaborate papercraft blueprints using the computer (for precision) and then print those out, cut them, glue them, etc.

Victory Leo and Leobreaker (and Nemesis Breaker) both make perfect sense as part of this gimmick. They're modular Transformers that become armour for bigger robots.

Literal bones (people keep citing Kenner's Bone Age because they're fossils) just... wouldn't work. They're too curved, and they wouldn't fit neatly on the vast majority of boxy WFC toys.

They're not going to be compatible with existing toys, so it sacrifices the play pattern, and they wouldn't be based on pre-existing characters.

Victory Leo is a sabertooth, and cassette bots like Decibel and Legout contain dinosaur components. That satisfies the "fossil" requirement without taking it literally, and they're modular toys that combine with other characters and each other. That satisfies the play pattern.

My guess is that they want them to be compatible with the fossilizer gimmick.
Considering that the new name for Legends class is core class and the fossilizers apparently turn into armour my guess is that they are meant to be the "core" of the armour that gets built around them.

I have a few OG Armada, but that newer Starcream is just perfect. He can even hold the StarSabre and the SkyBoom Shield with little issues

I'm sitting here having never owned a Beast Wars figure, so I get to look forward to finding one I like, and then see everyone bitch about it.

What do you mean exactly?
I didn't mean we'd get an Apache release I meant we would get a BBoom and it could be easily used for Apache since they're the exact same.
Like we got G1 characters who fan be repurposed as Japanese G1 characters since their toys and designs were the same like with Masterforce stuff for example.

What I mean is, they probably won't make an B'Boom since it most likely won't get any sales in the west since beastfags only want the cartoon characters like how geewunners want the cartoon/comic characters and only then do you get your Japanese characters like Dai Atlas and Star Convoy. They're not going to spend the money just to make a separate mold for a non cartoon character which is probably why they're selling G1 along with it instead of toy originals like Razorbeast and Armordillo
