Real question, why do you care? You obviously don't like the product so why do you care how well they do? No one's forcing you to buy them. You should just ignore them. Them doing well should have no bearing on your life. I don't like funkos either but I don't get into a tizzy when someone buys them.

no they aren't dying they are killing regular brick and mortar toy sections. thye make a fuck ton of figures that shelf warm and are only purcheased by the hard core fanatics and the rest just fester on the shelves making purchasers less likely to order other toys because they think they won't semm either. it was the same thing with amiibos stupic animal crossing amiibos they made a million billion of them and it choked amiibos out of stores like walmart and target.

also most of here just hate the low effort of the line, the only decent ones are the non humans and even then it's not too often that they look cool. also most of the collectors are insufferable even more so then the average collector here.

me personally i fucking can't stand looking for toys at sites and having to wade through page after page full of shitty pops.

Man this was apparently a huge shitshow for everyone else but me. People got stuck in the virtual line...then at calculating shipping rates (even though it's either 6.95 or free over 50$) for well over an hour, in which literally everything was sold out inbetween the traffic jam. So the majority finally got through only to be told their cart was out of stock.

Meanwhile, I grabbed the ones I wanted (including Black Lightning, who will be scalped lol) and checked out in like 2 minutes. No bots or script rewrites either. Still shocked but that's how it is sometimes.

I was on that sale last night, I just wanted the Jack in the Box and Crunchberry Beast. It was smooth sailing, went on at 8, went to the check out and got stuck in the line for about 3 mins. The amazon pay failed, the Apple Pay failed, got stuck in a loop on the Shopify pay part with those codes. Got to shipping and was stuck there til 8:43. Thought it was hopeless but got the 2 I wanted. I was on mobile but I guess pc buyers got right through.

I don’t know how advanced bots are getting but it seemed like you had 2 steps to get through to the cart. Black Lightning was available for a while cause no one could check out. Some of the choices that sold out were mind boggling like the flying Shit Trooper or any of the Office ones

Not interested in Funkos enough to care how they're doing as a whole, but limited releases aimed at the most hardcore of the hardcore collectors are always going to sell well.
