>>8321806>>8321922>>8322129I'd guess that either Flame Toys read all their feedback and noticed that a lot of people were saying "I like her, but she's got really small wings," or Hasbro sent them a bunch of comic reference images and a memo that said "Closer to this, please, or we revoke permission to make it at all." after the twitter war. Based on
>>8321426 her entire upper body, arms, and legs are totally the same, sculpt wise. Her eye makeup and gold fan have been tweaked to be more IDW, the red panels and white stripe removed from her thighs because she never had that detailing in fiction, the gold removed from her crotch, and the new abdomen and bikini bottom added.
With that said, it should be simple to paint the red and gold back while building her.
>>8321478>>8321949>>8322190This is probably heavily dependent on whether or not they started making the molds before the twitter fight made Hasbro ask for a few changes. If there aren't molds for the wing runners, FT might not bother making them as alternate parts unless they really feel like being nice and giving the option. Her hips, meanwhile, are either the original design with the red bikini bottom clipped over them, or the only actual change to the main body mold.
As for her butt, it was part of her thighs, which are unchanged from the front at least. If we assume they didn't change the leg molds, it'll still be there, but I assume the new bikini bottom will be designed to cover it more.
>>8322489It's not actually shorter in proportion, it's just that her bikini comes up higher now, so there's less black stomach showing. The curve of her waist and bottom of her crotch are the same.
>>8322679It's probably best not to go to Twitter and start campaigning FT to change it back, because it'll start another huge fight that will be more bad PR for Hasbro, and this time they probably will decide that the figure generates more drama than it's worth and cancel it for real.
