Kidrobot can shit the bed sometimes with licensed characters (spongebob, catdog, etc.) but generally they are more interesting to look at. On top of that they also have original art toy designs. Superplastic for the most part has every statue made with the exact same body type but the actual art work makes them interesting to look at, and are great original pieces.
Funkos all mostly look the same and their designs are always uninspired, and since everything is a licensed character it just means you're getting really shitty statues that dont represent the character at all. The only funko pops that are ever good are the ones where they have no choice but to deviate from their formula. The Aku one comes to mind, but im not really into funko so I cant name any others off the top of my head. There are some characters that fit the funko aesthetic pretty well, like minions, but that doesnt really help their case.
Anyway, the Funko Pops are kinda shit but i'm not too bothered by them. The Dorbs on the other hand, every single one belongs in a landfill.
