Those particular figures, if legit, are just some test models that TLG was done with. The supplier has some sort of connection that lives near a factory. Either that factory sells off the scraps or they throw it in a dumpster where these guys dumpster dive.

So I get it. I understand why they didn't buy it for me. When I came back from my dark age I checked on that set in the secondhand market with real interest. That was when I learned how valuable Lego was. I've had a few opportunities to buy one for a comparably better price since then. But its so hard for me to justify the purchase. I want it. But what would I do with it? I wouldn't want to display it. That would just give it light damage. I'm not interested in storing it. I'm already storing plenty of lego. I wouldn't play with it. Its too valuable.

I'd love to see a line that makes sets out of multiple games (peach's castle or big boo's haunt from sm64, an airship from galaxy with browser, a ghost house from super mario world, maybe some yoshi's island sets)

Arguably the best playset in general. Lots of features, lots of studded space large enough to have scenarios at many different locations, an elaborate play pattern, every single important minifig in the theme

This is the stupidest thread of all time and you should feel embarrassed for posting it. Imagine if you died right now and the police found your corpse, in front of your computer where the last thing you posted was a thread on 4chan about LEGO. Someone would have to write that in a report. A police officer would have to inform your parents that their 28 year old son found enough energy in his final moments to refresh a thread about legos on a website browsed by paedophiles and mass shooters. He'd get home and be completely stumped, despite years in the police force, as to how someone could be so fucking weird. What do you do if your parents or friends ask what you have done for the day? Are you honest with them and tell them you made a thread about legos on 4chan? Or do you tell them something less pathetic, like "I was trying to contract HIV" or "I was shopping for Cambodian child brides"?
