Figma is certainly the best but Jakks has made some good stuff too. Their human figures look like absolute dogshit but the Skull Kid & Deku Link figures are great if you're a fan of MM.

Thinking about getting a figma link again and was wondering, does anyone prefer the Skyward Sword one to the Twilight Princess one? I know it's outdated in every way but there's something I find so much more charming about the older figure

Yes. The TP one has weird proportions, a god awful face and just looks awkward in photos.
Only plus is that he comes with more accessories.

Dunno about that anon's, but mine's are pretty loose. He stands really well, but the elbows esp are pretty cruddy. He also looks debatable in any pose other than what is in >>8344437 since they sculpted his body specifically for that pose.

They're alright but a little loose. As with most Jakks stuff, you get what you pay for. I got that particular figure at Walmart a year or two ago for about $15 IIRC. As>>8346603 said, posing it in any way outside of the pose I have mine in looks off so keep that in mind before you decide to pick it up.

GSC did good with every figma so far.
For Jakks it's pretty much just Wind Waker stuff that came out good.

Joint tension is all over the place, I personally got lucky and had everything firm but many got unlucky and real loose.
Actual placement is also kinda gross but he still poses alright.

The DX release of TP Link is great for all the items, but the figure just looks odd in the proportions and face.
Admittingly though, I do have a softer spot for the ALBW Link and the older ALTTP/OoA/OoS style.

WW Link nendo is objectively the best Zelda figure ever made. RAH SS Link is the worst. I can’t speak for BotW Link because I still had ptsd from the disappointment of SS Link and swerved the preorder.

I always really liked the TP gashapon, no idea how rare they are nowadays but they’re worth picking up if you spot them for a fair price
