When both were out, people qould try to compare the Jakks Mario to the Figuarts and it was just hilarious poor fagging. The figuarts Mario is a great figure

Luigi was a bit better but not enough so... sold em and got the jakks. Paint doesn't compare but they're using the same sculpt anyway

I will never understand Mario figuarts apologists. Most people agree the D-Arts line was shit, most video game licenses that get figuarts are shit with loads of problems except when it comes to the Mario fans they get really defensive over its very obvious short comings. I have both, I need both because there are things this $9 figure can do that the Figuarts can't.

It's more because he's a hollow, brittle piece of shit like the D-arts line and is engineered like a plastic model.

Neither the Jakks or the Figuarts are any good but they are the only real options
