characters with big feet. It makes me happy that a character can stand up with good support at the bottom without the need for a stand. bonus if they have forearms to match too. it's mostly a design choice i like too.

opposite, i hate characters with tiny feet, high heels and/or curved soles since those are guaranteed to fall off a pose and a shelf

The easy meta answer is that there was no such thing as "jedi robes" until prequelshit came around, Ben wore the same damn thing as everyone else on Tatooine and Yoda wore a burlap sack because he was living alone on a swamp planet with no washing machine. Accessories that "work" for other brands figures or toys. I had Lannards Corps as a kid and kept most of them in the garage, but it was good to see how well the guns and gear held up with other figures.

I've loved this feature so much ever since I was a kid but it's fallen out of favor for swappable heads.

In general I just like accessories that are more than a simple casting. Breifcases that open up, guns that move, sheathable knives, etc.

Pic related is one of my favorite figures of all time. The figure was an amazing cast for the time but the functionality and versatility of his accessories realky sealed the deal.

>Removable trench coat
>Removable sunglasses (not mask or helmet but close enough)
>Sheathing slot for sword
>Functional crossbow
>Flame shooting pump action
>Foldable hinged boomerang
>Functional holsters to hold all of this shit + a single cast silenced Uzi

Tbh I prefer this version to the legends all the way down to the grey color scheme even though hes got less articulation.

Fucks me off that all the older legends figures had these but they've since dine away with it.

I've even seen faggots here defend the deletion of toe joints by saying "as long as the ankles move well, it's pretty much the same."

No. It's not.

Toe + ankle articulation allows you to balance nearly any figure in any real world pose and then some; so they can stand up on their own without any aides.

Complete bullshit that it's no longer the standard when the early Toy Biz figures all had articulated toes at a much lower pricepiont (even adjusted for inflation)

Toe joints are severely underrated for posing purposes, same as head/neck tilt and diaphragm pivot. People that vehemently oppose toe articulation (fuckin Toy Galaxy) had a bad experience with a couple figures that had loose ones or just can't pose

This shit is the BEST. All of Kaiyodo's Aliens figures did it and it was some of the most beautiful shit I've ever seen. I'm kind of amazed I don't see it more often.

it doesn't look as nice maybe, but you can still do poses like that on the tip of the foot instead. It doesn't have a flat surface, but it still acts as a support, and it's not hard to find that center of gravity.

Also, a lot of figures I have with toe joints are useless now (or even came useless when they were brand new). For some reason that joint seems to get floppy really easily.

I really like diecast bits. I know the added weight can really screw over joints and stability, my SRC Shin Getter is super floppy because of his chunky diecast legs, but diecast has a really nice weight and feel to it. I love how it easily adapts to a cool temperatures, it just feels wonderful to hold and touch.

I personally love little details, facial markings like freckles, neat paint, painted nails, earrings or rings, details on shoes, pockets that are able to fit things in them, and fabric that has beadwork or details not printed on. It actually makes a TON of difference to me
