>>8367008>8366997It depends. On a overall score, I think Takara still nails the 3P companies hard, but the materials and paint that Hastak uses is pretty damn trash compared to the three main 3P companies; XTB/KFC, FT, and MMC.
Overall, MMC and even recent XTB/KFC makes a fun articulating toy with nice transformations, but they can't scratch Takara's articulation. XTB/KFC's build has never been the best, but they have really improved lately.
Fans Toys is probably the most stunning display pieces you can buy, but their crazy transformations will damage the paint for the most part. The articulation can be good, but their recent wave of toys have had articulation on par with something like MP Prowl. They basically have a gigantic catalog they need to burn monthly, so a lot of their toys seems like they have been made years ago.
Zeta is a smaller company that makes gigantic G1 combiners, but the toys aren't good for anything other than combining, so you are basically buying one giant toy. Some people will say that the combiners are G1 enough, but it's what is going to be done considering that even Fans Toys is giving into their style of combiners.
Transform Element is also cracking into things a bit it seems, their Mirage looks stunning, looks like something out of Takara made, but it still has issues with build that are at least getting addressed.
