And there's definitely a scale issue between 1:18 and 3¾. Generally, the 4" figures are considered true 1:18 and the 3¾" figures are not.
The figures you posted are from two different lines. One on the right is from the 80s 3¾" line and the one on the left is from the revamped 25th+ 1:18 line.
There actually aren't a lot of 1:18 lines compared to 3.75". Stuff like Star Wars is 3¾" and a lot of other lines followed the old scale vs 4" stuff. Companies like Joy Toy do 3¾" while companies like Hiya Toys are 4".
No real rhyme or reason on why they go for old school scale or new school scale, but they're consistent about keeping to their scales at least.
