>>8357960Because apparently anyone posting a thread with lots of pictures of a new toy line is apparently a shill. That and confirmation bias. For example
>>8357918>When one anon derailed the thread with instructions on how to make cool space ships from junk, Saltine threw a hissy fit and deleted the thread.Because literally any other thread on /toy/ would welcome shit posters coming in and saying the toy was crap and that they could do better, right?
>When anons start replying to tell OP (Saltine) to stop shilling, the thread gets deleted by OP.Because I'm sure anons love when 70% of replies to their questions are "FUCK OFF SHILL!"
Honestly, these things were posted in the Modular Robotics thread LONG before Saltine ever made his post, and Saltine hung out in that thread. He wasn't the first one to mention the toy line though, nor did he spam the thread with images of it. So I just assume he liked the line and wanted to have a thread about it. They say shit like he has
>WAAAY too many pro pics of customs & links on hand to be anything else but a viral marketer. But all his images were just stuff you could find with a google search of the line, on their twitter or wherever, and the info he posted was very bog standard if memory serves. I've posted WAY more in depth info and WAY more images about Assemble Borgs without people flipping their shit. I preach the good word about them wherever I go and I ain't employeed by Revoltech. Fucking wish I was. I would shill if they paid me in figures, no questions asked. And we've got threads full of people doing the exact same thing with more established brands. For some reason those are ok, but this isn't.
Maybe it was just that it was a fairly unknown line outside of modular robotics so when someone came in throwing around giant photo dumps and official information it made people think advertising? Well whatever.
