I really don't understand how you could say something like this with such certainty. I own the NECA Rodan, and the wing joints were iffy out of the box and have flat out turned useless over time. I can't pose his wings up, they do not stay.

If you have any advice on how to fix/tighten up these joints, I'm all ears.

Yep! Just put a dab on the joint (or use a toothpick if you want a little more control). Then work the wing up and down, wipe off any excess. You mostly want it between the hinge and wing connection. Let it dry over several hours (like overnight) and then try working it. You may have to clean up some glue that comes off, or even do another layer, but you'll get to a point where it allows for movement while having stiffened things up.

Seems like all of these are displayed in their respective lines, but those three (Kong one fell down in this photo) don't seem to have any confirmed info on them. The thing throwing me off is what looks like a "Try Me" button on the packaging. The cutout looks like it's supposed to have some light feature like the SHMA KKK '89, but the actual figure has normal looking grey spikes. NECA's 64, 89, and 03 are better than their KingGoji(which is also really good).

But even though I don't have the frozen shin(I have a regular SHMA Shin, the reissue with better paint) I can say that it's easily a better engineered figure than the NECAs, which I do like.

I didn't get the 2019 NECA because I couldn't find one that had good eye paint apps.
Also, I have the 2014 NECA Godzilla and figured it was the same figure. so I went with the the 2019 Monsterarts.

Both are great. but the Monsterarts is better in every way.

I kinda regret not getting Burning when I saw him tho. I think he looks pretty rad.

They are just using them as $2k COD machines. I see toys as something I can enjoy for possibly decades that will only appreciate in value, whereas electronics are typically only good for a few years, and depreciate rapidly if you are concerned about reselling them. Ironically, the only figure I have that has probably gone down in value is the SHMA Frozen Shin, since apparently more were made than people were willing to buy. Bluefin was trying to sell all of theirs off for $70 apiece recently. It's a good figure, though.

It's an awkward dilemma. I want GvK to do well and revive interest in the kaiju genre. But that would also mean feeding Playmates' stranglehold on the license. Hmm...

He's still in the early stages of the 98 movie and cartoon Godzillas.

That post is referring to the Jungle Lord figures from the rest of Batch 2-onward that haven't shipped yet because just as he was able to work on them again and send them COVID hit and caused shipping delays.

Once he can start sending out the Kongs again and fulfill a lot of orders he's gonna move on to the 98, Zilla Jrm and apparently also a MUTO Prime figure.
