So being the oblivious idiot he was, he wrote a female character in as being horrifically and traumatizingly gender-bended, not realizing that he just basically created a Trans Character, but with deeply uncomfortable non-consensual/sexual assault vibes.
And because again, he’s an idiot with no awareness about actual gender-sexuality discourse and literary themes, instead of just indicating that ‘male is the default gender and girls are weird and icky’ like he wanted, he also opened the gate for later less neurotic writers to starts intentionally making Trans characters in transformers.
*Earth Wars would go on to be the third (at least that I’m aware of) continuity in this franchise that he felt the need to bring up gender and strawman-““Feminism”” in completely unprompted.
