Steel Jeeg is cool. I think he's just ripping on you because the usual toy pics include random explosion effects on white backgrounds.

My old man is a big fan of Kotetsu Jeeg. We had a blast spending a whole afternoon tracking down a soul of chogokin in Osaka several years back. I think he's a much bigger fan of Mazinger Z and getter robo, but he likes to have all his Super Robot bases covered. I don't have pics of his robo shelf, but here's a sweet T-shirt he found on a solo trip to Tokyo.

Haha, I guess it's prime boomer material. Mazinger Z is also great. I have the GX-70 SOC. Wish they did more possable figures with more accessories.
