That would be my digivolving Agumon/Greymom figures. I pretended Agumon was my partner Digimon. Still have them sitting on my Digimon shelf. They're a bit loose and obviously players with but they're not in horrible shape. More importantly they're still mine from childhood. I also still have a plush dog my Grandma got me but he's stores safely in a box in my closet.

My grandmother knew I was interested in wolves when I was 9 and got me this badass wolf puppet/plush. At the time I was also really into Calvin and Hobbes and so I made the wolf (‘Woodril’) my Hobbes that I went on pretend adventures with emulating C&H (ex.- instead of the Yukon we went to the Northwest Territories). Unlike Hobbes though, Woodril’s fictional personality was more cynical. Eventually I grew out of playing pretend and boxed him and my plushies up. I recently found him and nostalgia’d a bit, he’s still in good condition.

I'm sure I had toys that were "special" for a week or two to me but pic related had a way of sticking around. Well after high school I'd still keep him in my pocket and just fiddle around with the thing from time to time.

I got a parrot stuffy with a long tail that I used to carry around with my self every where when I was a little guy, he's now in my special stuff box in my closet, every time I clean out the closet or add something to the box I pull him out for a little hello.

As a kid, it was a Snoopy doll, but I lost him when I was in my teens. These days, I have little Lizzie keeping me company as a desk buddy. Don't know what makes her different compared to the other desk figs. Probably because of the plush factor.

And this chimp plush I had when I was 5 or 6. His name according to my parents was Pingo Pongo from Congo.
I was so heartbroken whe he got stolen one day when I took him to the playground one day. My parents tried to calm me down claiming he went back to Africa and he'd come back later (when they bought me a new one)

My parents bought me this from Hills when I was 4. I took him everywhere with me and he narrowly avoided death several times. I took him to the beach and almost lost him in the ocean, I took him to a zoo and accidentally dropped him into the water in the amphibian section, and I left him in an arcade once as well. I could never bring myself to get rid of him so 21 years later I've still got him. He's sitting on an appropriately sized bean bag on his own special shelf. I like to think he's enjoying his well-earned retirement.

Can't find a pic of it but there was a squirtle plush from Ruby and Sapphire that I got when I was a kid. That thing was the few things that survived my childhood that wasn't lost in a move or thrown away by either parent when they split and both moved around several times.

Damn it, this thread got me in the nostalgia. I ended up hunting down the same one I had as a kid and paying, probably way to much for a 1980's Garfield, for one off of etsy. I'm sure it's a thrift store flip but i wanted him , even if it's not the one that was my buddy those 30+ years ago at least this one has a home now.

MSIA Gouf Costum. Probably the one action figured I played with the most as a kid. Id rush home after school and reenact it's battle from 08th MS Team. It was a good sturdy figure too, nothing ever came off or was loose. One of the all time best MSIA.

Had a stuffed yellow dog with floppy ears that I got for my eighth birthday that I named Cuddlebones. I required several surgeries when I was young, Cuddlebones was with me through most of them. Had some home life difficulties and he was source of comfort.

A few years back had to move and he was accidentally thrown in with another person's belongings, and they most likely threw him away. Sometimes I'll think about him ending up in a garbage dump and my chest gets tight. Those of you who still have your old bros be glad and hold onto them tight.
