I've got 2 orders on Amiami and their deadline for the payment request is tomorrow. What would happen if I just didn't pay them? Would my account get banned?

If you spend enough money with them over tome, they usually give you leeway. If this is your first few purchases, you gonna get banned.

It’s no big deal though. A lot of other stores carry the same products now.

I've taken to keeping my impulse pre-orders to hlj and bbts because you can cancel ahead of time at least

Believe me it looks way worse when you just let it expire without a reason. Even if they don't ban you outright you'll get a permanent black mark on your account.

This, I've had my account since 2014 and canceled two orders in that time, once a few years ago because I couldn't pay, and again this February because the release kept getting pushed back and I couldn't justify going through with it. Both times they were willing to work with me and gave me a warning not to do it again. Be polite, let them know your situation, assuming there's an actual problem, and you should be fine.

I have been shopping with them for 7 years now and out of the 8-10 orders I make a year, I usually let a few go unpaid and get cancelled. Don't pay for shit you don't want anymore especially if they haven't even warned you yet. They should have a cancellation system like a normal fucking store if they don't like this scenario.

Had a problem when I wanted to pay for stuff on Mandarake (my first time) and discovered that my credit card was blocked for some reason. Told them about it and they gave me a little more time to get shit fixed. Turned out it was not enough time and they let me cancel the order after explaining.
They were really nice even if they banned me from the store afterwards.

Should I appeal to cancel my order? I paid it months ago but shipping is still in processing. It's all 30 minute mission stuff and I know covid slowed things down but I can order a lot of this stuff for not much more in the US and rather havw the money back at this point.

Depends on how much you've spend with them before and of this is your first offence.
I've not paid for 3 orders and cancelled at least 2-3 over the years but I've also used them a lot as well.

I've let a few orders just lapse from time to time as well, and nothing has happened to my account. I haven't even gotten an email from them about it.

I would send them a courtesy email if you have no intention on paying. It won't hurt you at all and it makes you seem at lease SOMEWHAT responsible in the fact you're letting them know you want to cancel. Giving them no indication is just dick though and says a lot about your character. I bet you're one of the fucks who doesn't return his cart to the cart coral at the grocery store.

It's common fucking courtesy to let the seller, regardless of how large of an entity, know that you don't intend on paying for the item you ordered. Just ignoring it makes you look irresponsible. How hard is it to type out an email with the order number saying you don't want it?

They should have this as an option in their site like any other online retailer and this would be a complete non-issue. They could also require payment information to be associated with the order when it is placed if this is a problem for them.

This isn't a fucking Etsy shop, why do I care about looking irresponsible to a faceless international toy retailer.

Kind of in the same boat but with Mandarake, only because I didn't expect DHL shipping to be 45 bucks. Now I have a Devilman I need to drop 115 for and idk if I could be banned or not (I bought 4 things from them before).
