Hasbro uploaded box and instruction pics for the first wave of Zoids Wild kits into their consumer care instruction database.

Yea the names are bad. They even changed Fang Tiger to Zaber Fang in the Hasbro dub. And I'm not sure if the new human character names are any better than the Japanese food ones.

I really appreciate the painted, unique pilot figures for the Hasbro release. Normally I wouldn't care but the exposed pilots are pretty much the gimmick they give the most emphasis this time around.

Were people buying them or were they shelf warming? Wild did great in Japan but I don't think the success is transferring to other countries.

a few stores shilled them quite well what with the salespeople demoing them every weekend, but Manila is just one of those markets where a shelf is never empty for some reason. it made me jealous honestly.

I'll keep an eye on these, but I'd want to see a comparison to the Japanese versions, IIRC the Hasbro ones were simplified to remove the skeleton mode for these.

I did get a couple of the Japanese versions on sale in the spring and they are fun simple kits so IDK why they'd need to simplify them even more, the parts aren't on sprues and the kits are easy enough to put together in a few minutes for the small and medium size zoids.
