>>8382004I considered making this after some fun Imaginext talk in the parents thread, but I dunno if /toy/ is light enough on dickheads such as
>>8382408 for it to work regularly. Nonetheless..
My son has a hundred of them. His favorites are the larger ones like the chomping green T-Rex and Mongul, but I like the figures so much I make sure he has an army. One thing that I think is really cute about the line is how they don’t use words like “death” or “kill”, so Deathstroke is just “Slade”. This extends to the toys too, like in this classic monsters set that I really want (for my son, of course). The zombie guy can have a bag over his head like Jason in Friday the 13th part 2, but instead of a chainsaw or some other brutal weapon, he has a weed whacker!
>>8382876They’re perfect the way they are. Kids at this age don’t give a shit about having a deluxe action figure, but they’ve improved articulation and sculpting over the years anyway. My son has a Hal Jordan and Superman who each lack wrist and head articulation, as well as having a pretty doughy-looking sculpt. The newer ones have those articulation points and have nice detailing built into the sculpts.
