The old bakugan were cool by themselves. The touched metal and "popped" open.
Then sky bakugan showed up and they jumped high in the air when they opened, but Ultra Bakugan are something else.
Ultras, when rolled well, flip open in the air and stand on their feet. The jumping also means they CAN pick up an extra hex and it counts for score.
The jumping also means they can LOSE the hex and it means they don't get any bonuses.
Core Bakugan don't pick up any extra hexes but they never drop them either.
