The detail is really good, and the pricing has gone down a whole bunch. If you want to get into 3D modelling i would say definitely pick one up.
I used figma joints, as if you made your own small joints they would probably break easily. It would be an interesting experiment though, seeing how close you can get to a 100% 3D printed, articulated figure.
