>>8398514Snapdragon and Apeface were never used in the comics outside of being goons for Scorponoks; they had a blink and miss appearance in the US cartoon (where they are mainly a trivia bit over how animators got their headmaster units mixed up outside of head mode). They appeared a little bit more on Headmasters, as bodyguards for Galvatron (mainly because the two were so evil that even Scorponok couldn't tolerate them and exiled them from his forces) when he comes back but their only notable moment is where they are holding wine glasses with Galvatron in a human house and talking to random humans.
On paper, the two are Overlord type edgelords who were so edgy that their fellow Decepticons don't like them. Their Nebulon partners have better personalities; Apeface's head is a middle aged sad sack who looks like Julian Crane from Passions, who's father did some shady shit that permanently shamed his family and made him work for Zarak since polite society hated his guts. He can't stand being bonded to a monster like Apeface, to the point that Apeface's sadism causes him to have a psychotic episode, flashing back to being bullied as a kid, and either join in on the carnage or go full tilt BSOD catatonic.
Snapdragon's partner on the other hand is a Henry Rollins lookalike thug turned bodyguard. He was part of a gang that kidnapped Zarak's daughter but Zarak found them and had the gang killed save for him (because he kept the others from harming Zarak's kid). As such, he was given the option of serving Zarak as a bodyguard and swearing undying loyalty for his life, which led to him becoming a headmaster.
Their modern toys are pretty good and they have decent jet molds.
