I mean they gave the IF a different bolter and the Salamander has a special mold. So why not?

I think they are still being way to careful when the Ultramarine showed them there is demand. Perhaps if this particular batch does well, the next Chapters will have more variety, like chain/powerswords, plasma guns or other weapons.

It's possible they're working on something new and just releasing repaints for now. Who knows how Bandai's line will progress. It doesn't seem like there's any particular trajectory yet. Likewise for McFarlane's line, it so far seems like 9th edition is the focus there, but until we see the next assortment it could very well just be the one wave that's based on 9th.

Not to mention even if you far prefer the Bandai Marine, there's no enemies for them to fight except each other. Meanwhile there's a Necron troop perfect for killing. And of course the blank Primaris for $20 which can be customized to your liking, rather than having to deface a $100 Bandai figure.

Space Yiffs most probably, we still have Raven Guard, Dark Angels, White Scars and Iron Fists for original loyalist legions.

Other popular Chapters would be the Bloody Mapies, Black Templars, Legion of the Damned and Grey Knights, though perhaps those would require a completely different mould.

Hopefully soon. Instead of guns, those two chapters use melee weapons, so respectively I think I'd like to see power claws and a power sword. Or maybe claw and axe for the Space Wolf. They definitely fucked up not making chainswords standard for each figure, though.
I'm also personally a fan of the really intricate Marine designs with tons of seals and shit, but I think half the reason they went with Primaris Marines was because they'd be easier to sculpt and require fewer changes for each chapter. I guess that's somewhat understandable, though.

I feel like Grey Knights and Legion of the Damned are the only ones that would require a new mold, but the Templars really only look good with all the extra bits. Blood Ravens can just be standard like these ones.

Yeah of those the BR are the only ones that do not need a special mould, but a Black Templar without all the purity seals, robes, chains and books (perhaps an extra candle here and there), would not be faithful.

Of course LotD and GK are their own special breed.
