>>8412857This is the same generic complaint people always level against Kojima, and I disagree. Death Stranding wasn't for everyone, but I found it a melancholy and meditative experience. Traversing the beautiful and lonely landscape, interspersed with nail-biting sequences of sheer terror, added up to a really unique and exciting whole. Kojima doesn't make perfect games, but he's a boundary breaker, and I respect that. I can forgive a lot of flaws if a game is doing something new and exciting. I'd much rather have that than a technically well-done, but ultimately boring retread of the same old tropes and game types.
