I live in a moderate climate, so it's like room temperature almost year round. Very few days of extreme hot and almost no extreme cold.
I keep most of my stuff in storage in a box, with moisture packets, against an inside wall closet. So they don't even get any heat while laying in the closet.
I rotate my displays, so they can stand out on various shelves for years and i use a normal paint brush to dust them. No direct sunlight hits them and i have AC when it gets too hot/humid.
So that's the state of the environment for all my toys.
No issues on anything really, apart from death dives that have only broken accessory pieces.
oh, and non-smoker and non-pet owner too.
