>>8423629Me. I always thought Kissplayers was a great setting (minus the loliservice). This WAS the G1 universe in Japan when it came out, and it bridged the gap between the end of the movie and the start of season 3.
Hotrod is shown to have run the organization right into the ground from his first act as a Prime: Galvatron, flung from Unicron's eye, plummets to Earth from space and vaporizes downtown Tokyo. Oops.
The Humans, well and fully fed up with being the squishy processed meat filling in an intergalactic giant robot civil war sandwich say "Fuck it" and throw all the Transformers off of Earth. They found the EDC (Earth Defense Command), and erect a barrier of particle energy around the earth that will cripple any normal cybertronian that comes to the planet. At the same time, using stolen cybertronian technology, including the corpses of Optimus Prime and other autobots they refused to release, the humans built Autotroopers: sparkless transforming robot shells the can be piloted by humans, and use these combat machines to maintain the safety of the planet. Which they need, because the area of Tokyo destroyed by Galvatron (now known as the Tokyo Singularity) is producing creatures known as Legion. Born of Galvatron's parts fusing with Earth Technology, they look like zombie Megatrons and rampage through the city, destroying and slaughtering everything in their path.
In order to entice the Autobots to come back to earth to help, Marissa Faireborn, former EDC soldier, breaks into the research laboratory where Optimus Prime's corpse is being held to liberate it. When she comes under attack from the EDC defending the base, she fuses with Optimus, awakening him into a new body. This new body is able to function on Earth despite the particle field, and the two escape to go adventuring. If she hadn't had the body of a fucking eight year old and severe daddy issues that made her want to fuck Optimus Prime it could have been a decent universe.
