damn i remember there being some pretty cool looking yo yos in the early 2000s. I didnt know a bunch of tricks though. Rock the cradle and sleeping/ walking the dog i think was all i learned.
Some yo yos refused to sleep and would forcibly come back and hit your knuckle and that sucked and was why i quit.
