How do you guys think mcu Marvel Legends would be like if Toybiz did them? Would they be better or worse than current mcu ML?

They'd probably be the same quality as Hasbro, maybe sturdier plastic in hands and joints and they'd probably have better paint apps, but they'd probably be around $30 a pop and they wouldn't have nearly as many figures.

Yeah, Hasbro had to go through a whole phase of being cheap and then finding out how to be cost effective. Toybiz hit the ground running and never stopped(except for females).

A lot of the old toybiz guys work on the 6inch fortnite line from jazwares, so its not hard to look at that line and see what might have been for mcu or ML stuff in general

Aww yay! It's good to see a Toybiz thread! I used to post here years ago, as I am a former Toybiz employee. I wish we never let hasbro purchase the liscense, but it was $5m and the took over responsiblity for everything, so it was a win win... I still miss the showroom though.

I was a designer. I worked on figures for LOTR, Marvel vs Capcom, Resident Evil, and also the figure factory sets.

Just so you know, some Toy Biz people still work at Marvel who watch over licensed products, including what Hasbro does.

And a lot of the sculptors that worked for Toy Biz continued making sculpts for the Marvel ines.
This Hulk is from the Marvel Universe line, which was the 1:18 line. There was also the guy who did the AIM figures, whose name i forget.
No doubt, ex-Toy Biz sculptors are still making toys for Hasbro

They were really impressive for their time. Pretty awful by today’s standards, in most cases. Not surprising that a zoomer would overlook context or gray areas in general though. If it isn’t binary black and white it just doesn’t make sense to you retards.
