Yeah, just like the Luke 3 pack from last year. It's getting an overprice 3 pack SDCC exclusive but they're all being released on single cards later. Basically there's no point in getting the 3 pack unless you're an obsessive carded collector.

I have the new purge trooper. The electrostaff effect pieces are really lame. They are too loose so they just fall off the staff if not held horizontally. Pretty disappointing.

I've bought from them a few times. Pretty good stuff, you may need to do some cleanup but it's nothing major. I have another order coming in a few weeks with an SHF Han head, the Ponda Baba head, and a Nikto.

Pic related is from the Quarren kit I got from them. I also recommend Outer Rim Traders as well since they have other stuff lik accessories and some good exclusive headsculpts like Mimbanese. Their stuff is very clean.

The torso and hands are definitely one of the old Tessek figures but the head I think came from a Clone Wars era Quarren soldier.

I'm not sure if you can find that exact Bossk head, I know ORT has a few different Trandos though. If you want that exact one then you might be able to commission someone for it. A guy who goes by sandcrawlercustoms on Instagram can print resin heads and he might do it for you.

I don't have many others finished right now. I have a Twi'lek smuggler that I made with a Jyn Erso body but it's a little small for the head I used (a Clone Wars Aayla Secura). I've got a spare Jaina Solo body that I think will work better for her. I'm also working on this Mimbanese that's inspired by Waydurk from Solo. Waiting on some other stuff to get here before I can work the body but this is what I have painted so far of the head

Got a decent haul today. Thank you to the Anon who posted that probe droids were on clearance, I managed to get one. Also got 40th ESB Han and Chewie off Amazon for $15 each as warehouse deals. And then I finally found a Mission Fleet Mando so that I could get the crib for Yeed. Also just messing with it, the slightly bigger head that comes with the Mission Fleet figure helps the Black Series version to look a little more in scale. Didn't do it for this pic though.

I think Dooku's height works very well with the Figuarts Obi-Wan and Anakin. Maybe a touch too tall compared to their actual heights (though Christopher Lee was a half-foot taller than Ewan), but it's awesome for an imposing Sith Lord!

All those BS figures will likely be re-released at some point down the line. Rex could be updated with the new Clone Trooper body, and I can totally see Palpatine and his throne re-released in a Vintage Collection-styled box.

Thanks. Each head may be drilled differently so you might need to either dremmel it out or fill it. In my case the hole was slightly too big but I ended up putting a piece of rubber tube over the peg and that was enough friction to keep it on and still allow it to move.

The hands I ended up having to cut down the arms and then remove some material around them with a dremmel in order to get them to fit within the sleeves.

I guess. Maybe I'm just disappointed the Nihilus figure is just Maul's manlet body with a different head. A real shame. He was the only figure I was looking forward to really. The wave is mixed but the packaging is color coded to match others from the same series. Basically matching the orange boxes which only Mando characters will have will give you a mural with all the Mando characters and so on for the other colors.

Can anyone fill me in on what's going on with the Galaxy of Adventures line? I want to pick a few up because the animated art style looks really cool. Apparently the latest wave had Darth Maul and Boba Fett, but I'm not sure when those went up for sale, or if they're still waiting to be released on major retailer sites? All I can find are Boba Fetts on eBay for $40+ and there aren't even listings on sites like Entertainment Earth or BBTS.

This is all I've found so far. Still, no real indicator of an actual release date, and it's odd that all I can seem to find online are Boba Fetts, no wavemates, no cases, nothing.

They’re getting better at character selection but they’re reusing a bunch of part, cutting articulation in some areas, making dumb decisions (clone elbow and shoulder pads), and not skipping paint apps in certain areas. Ironically they put the most effort in/had the highest quality in the Winter 2018 Last Jedi wave-2020 Rise of Skywalker second Wave, but also those waves were full of characters nobody gave a shit about.

They're shit when it comes to release expectations. If you preorder something and they say it'll be available October, expect to go months before it's fulfilled. You'll check the order page and keep seeing the expected date change to November, December, January, etc. Sometimes you luck out and they do have it on time or at least only a month late but don't rely on them if you want punctuality.

At the risk of asking something slightly outside the subject range of /toy/, what exactly is the structure for imperial trooper squads? Wookiepedia says the Empire ran 8-man (technically 9-man) squads as their smallest combat unit, but then there's a reference to 4-man 'fireteams' being a thing in Mandalorian, and then there's scenes like pic related where the 'squad' of death troopers seems to be 6, and I have no idea how the stormtroopers in the back are grouped. I'd thought it was always squads of 5 for some reason, but I can't seem to find where I got that from. Asking because I have a decent number of troopers I want to display and I'm no longer sure how they're meant to be canonically divided up.

I don't have an answer for you exactly, but I wouldn't use that scene for reference. They didnt have enough suits on set, so they asked the local 501st cosplayers to show up, and I'm pretty sure they just put every one who did and wasn't fat in the show, without caring about squads or units.
