I genuinely fucking hated it. Its just Garth Ennis's Mary Sue character fucking and hating super heroes and swearing a lot. Its the most self masturbatory edgy bullshit I've ever read and outside of a few glimmering good bits, the entire comic feels like ass because Butcher is just that fucking unlikable. He's not even a bastard you root for, he's just shit.

Holy shit, fuck The Boys and fuck the Preacher comic too. Preacher was considerably better, I at least enjoyed it, but meandering is the nicest way I can describe the FUCK AWFUL pacing.
