Did some of you owned Skylanders toys, I had so much of those but people think it was dumb games and that it ended Spyro's license, at least kids can play with it like with their regular toys

I always thought they were neat little statues that. i bought a ton for my youngest kid and all the games, we used to play them a ton. when they went on sale i snatched up as much of the collection i could on the cheap and he still has them.

I like their designs quite a bit. A while ago they were being sold for 1€ each and I snagged up a ton of them. Once I get better at customizing I want to give them some joints.

never really truly cared for the designs. although they were a factor in buying them, i only kept the ones that were useful to me in-game. Switch's Imaginators lets you keep them digitally too, so i probably will sell the last of what i got at some point

I started with Giants but didn't enjoy the game much (especially not that level I couldn't complete because the entire screen was solid green). I would have bought more Skylanders stuff if I was having fun. Figures are pretty decent.

maybe we dont need TTL, but rather Cards to life like what AC did. theyre easier to sell and take up less space, and each card is like some NFC robo part. i cant believe Nintendo isnt trying to capitalize this

Well, the main idea is that the robocube functions as an amiibo with each side containing a swappable NFC chip that contains data for the robo saved onto it. The figure would just be a collectible figure that you can customize.

I had all the dragons. Spotlight, Lightcore Flashwing, and especially Lightcore Drobot were my favorites; Drobot in particular was incredibly OP in pretty much every single game, regardless of how much they tried to rebalance the stats.
Unrelated, but it's weird how Dark Spyro (V1) had a completely different moveset in the DS games. While he mimicked the regular Spyro in the console games, his attacks in the DS seemed to be inspired by TLoS - his standard attack was a melee combo, his secondary was his EN Fire Bomb (now colored to look like dark aether), and his charge attack was the Aether Breath beam from DotD.

Had a basic giants set but the paywall kinda pissed me off. Had a lot of fun with the Disney Infinity Gold releases on Steam. Sucks that they took out all the multiplayer though. The mega bloks Skylanders toys were more my speed though. More toy, less game, and that vacuum bird guy had a cowboy hat in one toy

How do you guys store these? I wanted to display them but we had so many, we couldn't figure out how to do it without using up a lot of space or putting them in 'one figure per square' displays. So we ended up putting them all away in boxes.
