>>8433432>high standards? How is asking for actual molds of characters not from G1 high standards. They were perfectly fine doing it 10 years ago?
>>8433502>>8433502>G1 fans had to prove their damnest to HasbroThis is the definition of entitlement. You got multiple reimagined versions of your old figures, a high end collectors line of characters from the original series, your own fucking comic and somehow it was STILL not enough because "oh no it's not muh definitive nooooo why can't I buy a masterpiece for $10"
Geewunners were in their 30s when the 2000s came along, there was no point making standard retail price figures that catered primarily to them because most fucking 90s or 2000s kids aren't going to recognize a Countach or a Datsun 240Z. I seem to think you forgot that right after Thrilling 30, the entire Generations line was basically 5 years of just G1 in the west.
It was called GENERATIONS not "G1 with knees" for a good reason. Because the line wasn't just made for fans of the G1 cartoon. It was made for fans of Transformers as a whole, it's why we got Armada Starscream, Laser Prime, Straxus, Lugnut etc. You people act like you're the only people who like Transformers, it's obnoxious as all hell. I'm not even a nostalgiafag, I'd rather we just get new characters but what is so wrong about asking for a dedicated mold at least one figure from a line that isn't G1.
"OH BOO HOO WE HAD TO GET TABLE SCRAPS FOR-"
Nobody cares faggot there were no smartphones back then so kids were the main market for toys to begin with. Most adults weren't buying toys, big shocker. The adult collector market only blew up after 2007 which is when they started capitalizing on G1 anyway.
Why does everyone else have to suffer because you faggots can't control your wallet.
