The full story is that Flame Toys, who has made several non-transforming (as officially licensed 3p companies can't make transforming figures, bar one Optimus Pen) models kits and super expensive action figures, had announced months ago that they were going to be making a Windblade model kit. They even included a picture of the working design to give customers an idea of what it would look like, which included all the TnA a thoroughly Japanese company can muster. Oe or two trannies got triggered, but otherwise it was a total nonevent. Jump six or so months later and they reveal the grey model on the left, and NOW everyone has a prolapsed anus about it. Blue checks and other mentally ill men twittered them and a few days later they reveal they were going to rework the design to the one seen in the right. I's presumed the figure has been delayed, but we don't know because a release day for it was never given in the first place, but we have no confirmation it was cancelled. I would very much doubt it would be too, since Flame Toys has already sunk a ton of money into the production and, with how niche their products are, can't afford to just not put it out. Hopefully when they do, it sells well enough for them to release the old design as well. Even better if they include the old part with this new one, but that's wishful thinking.
Point is Hasbro is just as SJW kneely as any other corporation, but hasn't gone super ham on their affiliates. Yet.
