Finally broke down and bought a Dino Thunder White Lightning Collection. I loved the show as a kid but in recent years I got a renewed love for it because of Abaranger, Abarekiller in particular. For the most part it looks and feels great. The helmet sucks but I'm putting in for the replacement program. The real problem is that there's a little blue-ish green splotch on the back of the shield that's bugging the shit out of me. Looks like a paint splotch and I'm looking for ways to get rid of it.

The reality is hasbro doesn't want the problems that come with 10+ rangers running around. Its tough to write stories and hold contracts. The beast morphers ranger/villain human cast is 7 people. Dino fury will likely 6+(3 or 4) characters. Kyuranger could be as big as 15 rotating actor contracts.

He was my first LC before I picked up Dino Thunder White earlier. Great figure but I had to stop messing with him because the ab crunch started to feel really floppy, really fast. Other than that I really just wish the used a lighter, more poseable material for the cape because it kinda gets in the way.

Keep them but just stop buying teams you don't like. I only buy figures with unique sculpts and stuff i've seen the sentai. Occasionally i buy stuff on impulse but its rare.

So for example, if you have no attachment to zeo don't buy any. You might not have a real attachment to mmpr, in which case don't buy anymore.

I don't know anyone who can be simultaneously interested in dino charge, spd, in space and mmpr. Its just not possible.

I watched MMPR from the beginning, tuned out on Turbo, came back a little before Dino Thunder and watched In Space reruns on Jetix while DT and SPD were on(started ordering bootleg toku dvds in 2004), then tuned out again at Mystic Force. Watching Sentai makes me give any series' toys at least a little bit of a chance, seeing how a Power Ranger series could be drastically less entertaining than japanese counterpart

I've only recently been getting into Power Rangers, so I don't even know what series Magna Defender is from, All I know is he looks like a knight and he has a sword that can turn into a shotgun, and it's just that kind of Metal Hero silliness that I love. Now I just need Robo Knight.

Paint and lopping off the two dart holders will at least improve it. Might as well keep the dart-shooting gimmick as it doesn't do much else. I'm holding off until I can find a cheapish Go-Busters equivalent because I want the phone mode.

I think top would be the most show-accurate cut but you'd need to fill some gaps with scrap plastic. Bottom doesn't look like it would leave any gaps and the remains of the holders could be interpreted as a place to rest the fingers of your off-hand.

Unless you wanted to build a comic based collection theres no reason to buy drakon. Unironically i think zeo blue (supposedly the worst figure) is better. He comes with 2 more weapons to pose with and has a new body.

My biggest problem with drakon is nothing is new with him and he doesn't come with a weapon.

I would hesitate to call the dragon dagger a real weapon, but i'll agree it counts as an accesory.

I just feel like the shield, boots and cuffs don't affect articulation or add much to the existing reused sculpt. Its hard to count a new head or helmet because most LC releases have these.

Like i said, if you like comics buy it. I just think if you already have white ranger you aren't missing out on much, UNLESS you read and enjoy the comics.

For any newbies don't buy the drakkon 3 if you don't want the stand it comes with or the damaged helmets.

Con exclusives always get rereleased in marvel legends and i suspect it'll be the same here. The same happened with gold zeo and mmpr red.

Its likely drakkon evo 3 will be single carded or become an exclusive in the near future.

IIRC the budget for this show originally came from money intended for Beetleborgs before that ended, but then after Mystic Knights got the shaft its budget then went back into Power Rangers. They were asked about VR Troopers and Beetleborgs at the last PMC and they deflected lile usual. But since the shows are still available on Netflix and DVD it's probably safe to assume they do have the licenses, but they'll probably just for away in a legal folder since there isn't a lot of demand for either show.

Hard to say. I want to say it won’t, because the $50 price tag is such a rip for a single figure. But Drakkon fans are fucking rabid too. I’d estimate that it sells out just like the other exclusives. But maybe slower than Hellfire Club or Cobra Commander. That could be a matter of minutes or hours, but I wouldn’t assume Drakkon would be up for more than three hours tops.

That's from MMPR, Lord Zedd and Rita turned a Ford F-150 into a monster so Zordon sent Tommy on a quest to find something that could beat it. He eventually found the Dragonzord powered 2002 Honda NSX Type-R and was able to defeat the Ford150inator. Of course they made him big but they just used normal zords for that.

The haslab announcement project will be a miniature "angel grove". It will be a model of the megazord fight scenes in the city. It will include a goldar and a megazord (which will be rereleased later. It will be 350$. and will include light functions and sounds. Its possible the dock the dragonzord emerges from will also be included.

It will be announced summer next year.

I got a second look at it. There is 2 dragonzords. There is one with half its body cut off but wave effects around the torso. The other is a standard articulated figure. They are in scale with lightning collection (6.5 inches).

There are miniature figures similar to the beast x zord included. There is a mound for green ranger to stand on to replicate playing his flute. This whole made to order diorama looks like shit.

No. The majority of people refer to it as power rangers, as thats how it was localized here and its more recognizable. Theres a reason why people call pokemon characters red here, and satoshi in japan. Its easier to interpret as "power rangers" and super sentai as "power rangers".

They are different though. They each mashed together different shows. The Golion Voltron episodes for instance have Dairugger scenes spliced in. They weren't translations of the original scripts either, the stories were written based on the animation, but the dialogue is completely different and in some cases major plot points differ drastically, such as what happens with Sven.
