It's a smaller run exclusive, using a specific colour dye from the game. Maybe someone prefers the yellow colour on that armour set, so obviously it wouldn't be garbage to them. It's also an excuse to reuse the mold. McFarlane churns out more original molds than probably any other company, gotta reuse some of it.

Oh, and Good Smile doesn't seem to ahve a sculptor who can't do anime style for everything. Great paint jobs though and the sculpts are still recognizable, despite their animoo style.

yep, pretty accurate to her comic book appearance, but most times MLs are just a generic line that aren't directly based on any one style.
It's a very homogenous style, because there's 234082340823408234 different artists and series takes on even F-list characters.
So MLs aren't supposed to be anything but bland. USually. For some reason, they have done even cartoony styles, like Olivier Coipel's Thor.

I also buy miniatures, 1/144 models, and 1:18. I even get 1:10 like NECA and McFarlane figures, but only for special stuff like TMNT or if it'll look like it'll fit within another line, like McFarlane's GoT dragons.

Basically, i don't limit myself.
Here's a scale comparison i made for the MegaBloks thread years ago to show how great McFarlane's sets are for making dioramas for Megablok figures.

I just ordered an Asmus Vergil and I'm very excited. The Luxury Version would have been cool but I couldn't justify spending that much money for Beowulf and the Lamp Stairs, Beowulf is the main loss personally. Got in the Jakk's Pacific Bloodhound figure today. Pathfinder's supposed to come in tomorrow.

Bloodhound is...okay.

There was always going to be inherent limitations to the articulation thanks to their design, and it REALLY shows with how restricted the shoulders and hips are.

The joints are there, it's just that unless Jakks Pacific were to use softgoods or a super soft plastic the skirt and shoulderpads just get in the way. Oh an no proper ankle rockers are a REAL killer for their balance.

I can't complain a WHOLE lot given their only twenty bucks and I knew these were going to be issues going in, but yeah. As a representation of my second favorite character from the game it'll look good on the shelf, that's for sure, but for play it's limited.

I don't think Bloodhound be representative of the entire line thankfully, thank to how different each Legends' design is, and hopefully Jakks can iron out some kinks with the line as it continues like giving them proper ankle tilts.

I have bloodhound and pathfinder, and bloodhound is definitely the weak one. Pathfinder has two joints in his torso, which is already a step up, but bloodhound's single one just basically acts as a swivel. I think wraith is the same way, so that's not great. Pathfinder is actually a lot of fun, but I feel like he's gonna be the standout, so I'm probably done with the line after these three if they don't start tossing in some extra joints. Or if they do lifeline.

Also, pathfinder's chest LCD is a hologram sticker that changes depending on the angle you look at it from, and it's probably the most rad way they could have handled it.

I haven't seen how these look in a long time and I can't remember how they look, but I assume they move at the arms and legs and head on a swivel, then it'll come with a pickaxe it can hold, and maybe some other stuff. What more would you really need to know?

Here are my morbid curiosity buys, all from Ross. Surprisingly, the McFarlane shopping cart set was only $13.

I wound up repurposing the one guy’s neck on a Damtoys Drawman body. Looks like it works with minimal sanding and drilling, but I just need to change his head.

I started a thread a while back about adding the Mattel Minecraft figures to a 1/12 Smash display, but the thread 404'd before I could post the Steve comparison pciture.

Here is is for those interested. I think he works pretty well with the others.

The Head joint is a little lose but that's just because I got it used, plus it's easy to correct.

Overall I like him and I think he is a worthy addition to my Smash display.

I know people were calling Pharah a Samus rip off from the start but i didn't really notice just how intentionally similar the armor design was until i saw her in a store. She seems built from the ground up to appeal to Samus fags.

Figures have a pretty long turnaround time, and it feels like Doom Slayer was probably going to be a one and done, or it wasn't expected to do that well. But then we got more repaints, and Marauder, and things still seem to be selling well. Doomicorn with a few new parts but mostly reuse, bronze Marauder, and that's it for now. I feel like it is doing well, and that if more things are coming they'd be coming next year. I'd like to think a new Doom Slayer, whether that's the Slayer, or maybe using the classic skin, is coming, along with perhaps a new demon or 2.
