A step down from Toy Biz's Lord of the ring figures.

While the uniform non-gimmick articulation is a little better, the sculpt and paint work isn't as good.
Might as well be a Mattel figure.

yes, it can look bad at times and the articulation is pretty shit, but i won't even bother with the DST.

If Toy Biz's stuff were released today and on the same shelf as DST's, id do a quick glance at dST's stuff before admiring TB's stuff. I might even buy TB's stuff, because the articultion MIGHT be good and i MIGHT over look some lack of articulation or gimmick shit.

Knowing what i know now? Well, I have been buying old TB figures, being pretty selective based on how shit the articulation can be.

Gandalf should have cloth goods or more accessories. This is just a bland wizard toy with LOTR packaging. Once the show comes out hopefully we get more interesting LOTR characters.

Jumping off this my perfect Gandalf figure would need cloth goods, I’ve never seen full wizard sculpting in plastic that looked good. The staff should have better paint apps. I’d love a switch of Grey/white clothes and staff.
