I had a few of those figures, and a bunch of the tiny "One Coin" figures as well.

Ive also got a ton of the model kits packed in storage that I bought and never built because I never had the space to set up a model building area. Maybe one day I'll build them. or I might end up selling them. Who knows.

I fucking love Armored Core.

These fucks are rarer, because unlike Armored Core, they never made it past the first wave of figures and stores couldn't even sell their initial cases.
Armored Core kept getting ordered and got new figures released for almost two years in the US

So how do Kotobukiya kits compare to standard gendum kits? Are they smaller or bigger or similar to 1/144? 1/100? I need reference point.

You should really be asking this in the Gunpla general thread, on /toy/ or /m/, but they are great kits, bigger than 1/144, GREAT detail, much more militaristic than Gundam kits. The only area where Bandai beats them is Gundam kits have more precolored parts. These koto kits are not for snappers, they are for real modelers that want realistic looking gritty mecha models that could be displayed next to serious tank or aircraft models.

I haven't got any firsthand experience with them myself but I have friends who do. Apparently they LOOK gorgeous when they're painted, but they're very, very fiddly to assemble and a bit fragile. Very much a model kit that can assume poses more than a Bandai style buildable toy.

The koto kits are pretty detailed. Your mech will look just like it did in the game. The only downside to them is that I find they are very fragile, but thats just because of the mech designs themselves. AC`s dont have nice beefy joints like a Gundam does.
