One problem with fossilizers is that they would clash aesthetically with the blockier ER/Siege weaponizers. Not my problem though, looking forward to Mugenbine the fuck out of them all.

It's kind of sad the only figures I'm interested in here are Tracks, Cyclonus and Inferno.

I do like Beast Wars, but I'm not looking to start up an entire new collection. That's why I abstained from buying any of the T30 BW figures.

Why did they make Megatron's circular thigh armor so small when there's a ton of meat to be had from the rest of his dino legs? What the fuck was the thought process behind this? And that backpack???

Dino mode looks great but I hope the robot mode turns out better than how it looks in the promos.

It doesn't mean much, sadly. Hasbro always adds one alternate head to most molds these days, it doesn't mean they'll get used, but I hope it does. A notable example was the TR Voyager Optimus, which had an alternate Star Convoy head that no version of the mold used.

I assume it has something to do with hand placement. Maybe it's mistransformed, or it ended up that way due to making the head removable? It has a normal hand on the tail so maybe they did the same for the T-Rex head.

It's the more realistic sculpt combined with the smaller eyes than how it looked in the show. I think it's fine but it's obviously not going for accuracy.

They're for posing the beast mode legs. Also that portion is a tiny bit mistransformed. I think it tucks in a little better in the back but not by much more than what we see there.

It looks like the top of the thighs rotates along there. I'm pretty sure his backpack folds up kind of squarish and the top of the thighs flares out with the cutouts that remain on this thighs to mimic the wings of the original toy's silhouette. If that makes sense.

Aside from BA, I'm not really excited about these Beast War figures. I guess I'm still satisfied with my Anniversary two pack Megatron, T30 Rattrap, and Rhinox. I've never really liked normal Cheetor and this one's torso doesn't look so good.

Can't quite put my finger on why this repaint looks so good to me. It reminds me of some of the playskool go-bots or mcdonalds toys of the era. Just so unabashedly bright, with gratuitous translucent plastic

It's probably a case like unofficial 3p, hasbro knows about it, but doesn't bother hunting them down since it sort of helps the brand, and only really cracks down when it's downright stealing people away from their stuff, See Unicron and that not-unicron.

So they're probably miffed that TonnyTonka has leaked it early but he hasn't had any outright faulty figures and people are getting hyped so a win win for them

One time I stopped into a comic shop after black Friday 2018 and they got in a whole bunch of 90's/2000 era figures from a collector who sold his stuff off to them. Among their stuff was an X-9 Ravage and a Shockaract. I couldn't just buy them straight up because they were taking in the inventory and had to appraise it but I regret not just trying to jump on it then and there because I never saw them again. Just didn't want to seem desperate. I did buy a Roulette and Shadow striker set off them when they put it up for sale.

There's nothing strange about the address. I have to check to see if the other street has the same address.

But this happened to both packages only recently. I never had this problem before. I don't know if Fed Ex put a new guy on who can't read on what their problem is. I'm temped to call them to complain but for all I know that'll make things worse.

I was reading this guy's info on Shadow Panther. It seemed like Hasbro didn't own the rights to the Ravage name which prompted them to use Tripredacus Agent and that later evolved into Shadow Panther.

rung got released twice so he's readily available now. The two blue decepticon micromasters did too; they were super rare and now they're pretty common.

Rung definitely has some of the best effects parts, but the only thing that sucks about him is that he looks too much like a character, so he can't just be a generic gun like the other dudes.

This is going to seem like a little thing, but do you remember Fall of Cybertron? Everybody had guns taken from the games, but instead of having them be generic interchangable weapons, a bunch of them were integral parts of that character. The gun from the game Shockwave uses is part of his altmode, so you can't give it to anyone else. The disc gun Kickback uses has his wings on it, Air Raid has Megatron's sword, and a bunch of other things like that.

I just want generic guns that don't belong to 1 bot so I can give figures I like some extra stuff.

Man, the listed core class has G1 Megs and Optimus, but then again the gator and croc were technically the G1 characters in beast bodies, not Primal and BW Megatron/Gnashteeth.

You can get megatron as a gun but he would need to be a commander class figure and the size of a Star Wars nerf gun with the orange tips for the scope and muzzle

Toy gun laws have changed the gun if it were to be silver needs to be the size of a large gun so it’s clearly visible

I'm fairly familiar with US toy gun laws, he would be fine undersized or severely oversized, so core class is where it would go, but yes he needs the blaze orange tip or to be fucking weird ass colors, a clear purple variant would be fine, and there's no way he'd be a photorealistic p-38, but something more akin to what his altmode looks in the Centurion set

Well those were technically official modes, specifically battleship modes for a space type figure.

Giving Megatron a gun mode would have to be done with clever panel/tab misuse and a transformation between tank and robot more elaborate than needed.

I honestly don’t see the point- silver tank Megatron with his arm cannon (from the tank) and WW1 bucket helmet gives the same archetype feel that the gun does, but it doesn’t need to size change or be carried around.

I feel the same way about Soundwave, Blaster, and the cassettes. Modern, self propelled forms that evoke their originals is good enough for me. I particularly like news van Soundwave with his minicons being radio/studio equipment.
