A dark magic-revived Scar returns to the Anthro Continent to reclaim his patriarchy. Using his newfound dark magic to prowl through the shadows, further enhanced by the Chaos Crystal of Fire, he is able to occupy a field in the pride lands in an attempt to annex the rest of the continent.
The Wild Watch intercepts, previously wielding the crystal, and are nearly successful until Scar's cohorts ambush the team and distract them long enough for Scar to steal the crystal. With the crystal in the wrong hands, Scar creates a firey force field around his section of his upcoming kingdom and is slowly encroaching into the rest of the continent.

Using his technological wisdom, the evil Dr. Scientist finally locates the Chaos Crystal of Technology and warps it away from the Action Alliance base. With the crystal now in his evil hands, he thinks of ways to possibly use it for said evil. However, the crystal starts reacting to his Spider-mech suit and inserts itself into the cockpit. The suit then comes to life and takes the first command to rule the City outside. Nearby heroes take action against the mad mecha and subdue it as quickly as they can, wielding two of the Chaos Crystals.
The heroes are overpowered by the crystal-powered mech, but are able to turn the tables with their crystals' element-enhancing powers. Dr. Scientist decides to take matters into his own hands and tries to control his powered-mech suit himself, but the mecha knocks him aside. After gaining its own superior sentience and powers, it decides to rule the city with its own kind and summons the Mecha Bruisers to join its cause.
